I was contacted by the B.A honours events management course at manchester metropolitan. i was asked to help promote their charity event. with a flyer and poster. i worked over 3 weeks on this project.
free lans work
a new venue that was opening up in manchester gave me the opportunity to designer them a new branding for there opening and to design all the signage and price all costs. they specified what and where they would like there sign on the build.
the clients had some sort of idea what they would of like. they shown me pictures of what they would like it to be like, to some degree.
i scaled up all the signs and extras and got a prices from quantity sever and the managing director of a company i am working for as a junior designer.
this was a great thrill and experience because i could to experiment with materials and a job of that of this size was a great boost for me.
After i finished my work with my client and the club. they forwarded my number onto their promotional team, and started working with there promotion team called 'spanked'. this was a theme for a night in the club. my job was to rebrand there original logo and design there flyers and poster for the events.

astra signs
this company has help me improve as a designer. they have taut me how to work with pre pressing art work for signs and exhibitions. this is a major part of being a designer that is a must know. it is important to know how to structure and scale the proportions and also be creative with some time large spaces. Whilst i spent my time there i was hired as a junior designer. it was very darning at first but the design team me shown me how the hole procedures in the art room. what was great whilst working at this company, was that i was working on real jobs. my job was to be briefs on the job at hand and draw up a specification on job. giving me to time to trial and era the soft ware and how to save correct files.
